The Law Offices of Jerry Lastelick bring over fifty years of experience to the practice of business and corporate law, entertainment law, estate planning, probate and business consulting. A Dallas native and Southern Methodist University Law School graduate, Jerry Lastelick has been practicing law in the Dallas area since 1958. Before beginning his solo practice, Jerry was senior partner in the Dallas law firm of Lastelick, Anderson & Arneson from 1967-1999.
Well-respected throughout the state of Texas, Jerry has served the legal profession at various times as chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Texas Bar Foundation, chair of the State Bar of Texas and chair of the Entertainment and Sports Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.
A graduate of Dallas' Jesuit College Preparatory School, Jerry has served his alma mater as chair of the Board of Advisors in 1995 and 1996 and chair of the Board of Trustees from 1989 to 1991. Jerry was named Distinguished Jesuit Alumnus in 1991 and has also served on the board of the Jesuit Foundation.
Jerry received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Texas A&M University where he was also a member of the baseball team. His 1951 team finished fifth in the College World Series in Omaha.
Jerry also served in the U.S. Army as a lieutenant from 1953 to 1955.and has been married to Betty Jo for 50 years.
